A site about our family! Mostly or all actually of Josie and Dana. I mean who cares about us anymore anyway?

Lots of loot!

We hope you all had a Merry Christmas, Josie sure did! I wish I would have got a picture of Josie surrounded by all her new gifts, I missed that opportunity. On Christmas morning she opened two presents herself. We did get it on video. She loved the sound of the paper tearing and crinkling.

So, our friend Gabriella, who is 1 year older than Josie, was nice enough to let Josie borrow a chair she used to use. So, below is a picture of Josie sitting in her new chair from Gabby. I also posted a picture of Josie sitting up all by herself.

Rachel's Christmas Stocking....finally!

Most everyone in my family has home made Christmas stockings made by my Great Aunt Emma. Well, since Great Aunt Emma is no longer with us, many of the little munchkins don't have home made stockings. I decided that just wasn't right. So, I set out to cross-stitch my neice Rachel a stocking. Six months later I finished it. Sorry, the picture is side-ways, but when I tried to rotate it, it changed the image size. (made it smaller)
I hope she grows to love this stocking, as it took A LOT of my time, blood, sweat and tears. Actually, I found that I really enjoy cross-stitching, it's the last part I don't care for, the sewing and all that finishing stuff. Not so much fun. Check out the end result!!

She wears many hats!

Josie's adopted grandma, Laurie, who lives across the street just loves to make little Josie hats. She brought a third hat over today. These are adorable, and one of a kind, nobody else has them! I hope you enjoy these pictures of Josie.

This one is mommy's favorite.

Windows and roof - Check!

Look at our new roof. It's so pretty. Alex worked hard on this all last week, he did it all by himself. Where do all your friends seem to go when you are doing a big project like this? Hmmmm....

The windows just went in today. Hopefully, the stucco guy will be coming this week.

Our neighbor is doing a project as well. I like the vantage point from up on the roof.

Merry Christmas!!!

Josie went to see Santa Claus, she handled it all pretty well. My guess is visiting Santa will be much more difficult next year. She asked for some teeth, and a pony. And she asked for her daddy to hurry up with our remodel. (really she did) Seeing Santa, was a spur of the moment, take advantage of there being no lines kind of thing. We bought the dress about 20 minutes before the picture was taken and we only had pink socks with us, thus she is barefoot. I like seeing her feet anyway, who wants to see the bottom of her shoes? I am very much a baby feet person. Those little toes are just bite size, I love them!

Josie & Kaleb meet!

Our friends Chuck and Jennifer had a baby boy on November 3rd, Kaleb. We got to meet him today. He sure is a cutie. Josie and Kaleb laid on a blanket together and stared at each other. Then Josie started grabbing for him and flopping her legs over onto him as well. He was a great sport and handled it all very well. Here are photos from our visit with Kaleb.

My little cousin Alex . . . .

is 20 years old. Funny how that happens. Here is a CUTE shot of him loving Josie. It melts my heart. I remember when I used to kiss Alex like that. Alex was the first little baby to pee on me when I was changing his diaper. I guess I had to be only 10 to 11 years old, but I was already changing diapers. I remember him peeing on me like it was yesterday. I love you Alex!
