On the move and our Mystery House!

Josie is creeping and crawling now. She is definetly moving forward, but it's more of a creep. Daddy won't let it be forgotten that she "creeped" to him first.

In this picture Josie got herself in this position, from a crawling position. She can almost sit herself up. If she could just push off her right arm here, she'd have done it on her own. Getting close!

Before you comment on my dusty kitchen floor, remember, we are having major construction done in our house. You can only dust so much! But, now that she is on the move, I imagine I will be 'dusting' my floor more often. :( Have I mentioned how excited I am for this project to be finished?

Our house is similiar to the Winchester Mystery House. We have a doorway that leads to a wall. Interesting, don't you think?

On the other side of the beige wall is our kitchen. We are making our kitchen a foot wider. That new wall will be our kitchen wall when the existing kitchen wall is knocked down. Progress! Thanks to Alex's dad for helping 2 whole days while he was up here from Mexico. Next time he comes up though, this project should be completed.

Alex got tickets to a Warriors game from work. I have never been to a professional basketball game before. Going to a live game though could've made me a fan! Do we have room for basketball in our lives, when it overlaps with the A's season? Probably not. We had a great time and had great seats. The Warrior's won too, against the Dallas Mavericks which I hear may be the best team in the league.
These are the kind of strange things you see when you take public transportation.

Josie's baptism and learning to clap!

Josie has learned how to clap, and she seems to think it is way more fun than waving. She claps all the time, we clap, she claps, or she claps and then we clap. I actually caught a shot of her clapping.

Josie was baptised on Saturday. She looked precious in her baptism gown, which just happened to be the same one me and my sisters wore. So, it's about 39 years old.

Joey's 3rd birthday!

This past weekend we celebrated our nephew Joey's 3rd birthday. Josie's grandma put a party hat on Josie too! How cute is that?? Seeing her with all her bigger cousins AND in her party hat was just too funny.

Check out the cake my sister made. I think she is pretty talented.
