We Four Bears

A site about our family! Mostly or all actually of Josie and Dana. I mean who cares about us anymore anyway?

Big weekend!

Another weekend of firsts! Josie went swimming this weekend. Although it didn't last too long (the water was a bit cold for her), it was totally worth putting her in her swimsuit. Look at her sunbathing with her leg up.
Next pic: nephews having a blast in Grandma and Nonu's pool.

Josie has been walking, a few steps on her own, along
furniture and also pushing her cart. So, our friend Carrie and I took her to get her first pair of shoes. I have always heard that babies shouldn't be in shoes too early because it can have a negative impact on the way their arches develop. Ashley at Stride Rite did say that Josie should be barefoot at home, and only wear her shoes when she is outside. This will help ensure that her arches develop naturally. We learn something more everyday. Anyway, she's pretty cute in her new shoes, which by the way have pink butterflies on them.

Notice how she is standing on her own.
BEE: Why the heck do my paragraphs show up in a long column? It drives me nuts!

She looks so cute. I did't know about the no shoes in the house thing. Poor Gabby had shoes on all the time. Only stride rites of course.

I cant wait to see her walking.
